Overview

Utilize Nekros to loot enemies of their ill gotten wares. At the same time, tank as well as any heavy and send enemies to an early grave.

uses 10 energy per body, however with the despoil augment equipped 10 health is used instead. Health orbs are the most common drop from rerolled bodies, so health orbs are more abundant than energy orbs and can be a readily available fuel for desecrate.

can give extra health to nekros and allies Everytime a health orb is picked up. Health conversion will give 450 armor for each health orb picked up, and can stack up to 3 times... Which gives damage reduction. The stacks will be consumed when nekros takes health damage but can be regained by simply picking up another health orb. Equilibrium will give health to nekros when an energy orb is picked up, and energy when a health orb is picked up. The shadows of the dead augment gives damage reduction to nekros for each shadow within 50m. The rejuvination aura will reduce the rate in which shadows health decreases and speed drift will allow faster movement and casting speed. The player should keep shadows active and make sure to pick up all the loot that drops, especially health orbs as they are the basis for this build.

Variation

The range mod stretch can be swapped for augur reach if the player wants to choose a bit more survivability over less range. I advise against overextended however. It will cause Shadows to die very quickly.

Counters

Nullifiers can destroy nekros shadows as well as dispel desecrate. Health conversion and arcanes as wellas equilibrium is unaffected, so destroy the nullifiers quickly. Avoid magnetic anomolies and leech eximus as energy drainage can also hinder nekros.

Hunter Adrenaline is a wasted slot considering your shadows act as meat shields (don't get shot much) and you're running Equilibrium, Despoil and Arcane Pulse. Those 3 mods will keep you at max health and max energy so long as your desecrate remains active and enemies keep dying. In addition, Shield of Shadows scales with power strength up to a maximum of 90% total damage reduction at 214% power strength. That's easily achieved with a rank10 Blind Rage and a rank5 Power Drift. Increased health drain on your shadows can then be offset with Primed Continuity. An additional benefit of using high strength is that your shadows will deal more damage and have more health, and your Terrify will be more effective. Lastly, once you have arcane pulse, you really don't need arcane grace or rejuvenation. You can run damage arcanes such as arcane avenger and utility auras such as enemy radar or corrosive projection.

Just a standard Desecrate build. Does it's job.

I usually run this build in long Mot's... Never run out of Life Support again:)
