to kill enemies quickly in confined environments, namely Elite Sanctuary Onslaught (ESO) and any indoor mission where you stay in the same tile. This build can consistently reach ESO zone 14-16. This build is tanky with high range, decent strength, neutral duration and negative efficiency, with Rage and Hunter Adrenaline for energy. This build requires taking damage to sustain the energy costs, and as such, a decent amount of healing is required. The build that is shown requires the use of Magus Elevate, ideally two of them, to sustain health. Adaptation is the one mod slot that can vary, ideally being regenerative molt if you don't have Magus Elevate. The only enemies this has a problem against are ancient disruptors[1] and healers, which require manual intervention with your weapons.

The Ignis Wraith is the best primary weapon when it comes to spreading spores, due to the large area of effect and high magazine. It is modded for corrosive to kill ancients and strip armor that much faster.

is not very useful without its augment Regenerative Molt[3].

Variation

The main mod that can change is adaptation. It can be swapped for Regenerative Molt if one doesn't have Magus Elevate. Otherwise the main options are stretch, streamline, and intensify. In terms of arcanes, at least one Arcane Guardian is ideal, with the second being personal preference. Options include Acceleration, Grace, Avenger, or Energize. Alternatives for weaponry is anything with a good rate of fire or melee with high range. One can use Vazarin as their focus school, using Protective Dash for healing, but becomes redundant and cumbersome with two Magus Elevate sets being an option.

Counters

Ancient disruptors won't take much in the way of damage from spores and will protect enemies in range, but go down once weaponry is directed towards them. Ancient healers will do similar but not to quite extreme an extent. Nullifiers aren't too much of a problem as the ignis can be pointed in their direction and they'll be dead. They are why you shouldn't use melee Saryn in ESO. The infested in general make using saryn in general slightly more difficult, due to parasitic eximus negating Zenurik.

This is a fantastic build for solo play at high levels where you will inevitably take damage.
