Volt Prime - General Use Capacitance Build
Build type: Loadout
A general use build for Volt that utilises Discharge and it's augment Capacitance. A decent amount of range and strength allows Volt to clear out groups of trash mobs at low to medium levels while the shields provided by Capacitance and Adaptation give Volt enough survivability to be played comfortably at higher levels.
Volt Prime is the Primed variant of Volt, possessing higher armor and energy capacity.

While there are no mandatory weapons needed for this build, it would be wise to pick a weapon suited for taking down nullifiers and some sort of AoE which can help with groups of enemies at higher levels who will not die to Discharge. Here are some of my personal choices
Primary Weapon (AoE)
The Amprex rifle fires a continuous beam of high voltage electricity that arcs among nearby enemies. This weapon excels at crowd control.
Primary Weapon Mods
Secondary Weapon (Nullifiers)
The uniquely styled Viper Wraith is a powerful variation on the standard machine-pistol.
Secondary Weapon Mods
Primed Target Cracker
Primed Pistol Gambit
Use Discharge often to keep the overshields maintained and take advantage of grouped up enemies to deals large amounts of damage. At higher levels, use an AoE weapon like the Amprex to clear out enemies that survive Discharge and destroy nullifier bubbles with a fast firing weapon to ensure that enemies can't hide inside the bubble.
You can specialise certain aspects of the build to make it more suited to different mission types, for example; replacing a strength mod with a range mod makes Discharge more useful in situations where you need to Crowd Control (CC) enemies such as Excavation or Mobile Defense.
This build focuses around the overshields gained from Capacitance, as such, damage that bypasses shields (toxin) is extremely dangerous and can kill Volt easily. Enemy Armour is also a big counter to Discharge due to the damage reduction the enemies have, meaning that Grineer will take more effort to kill and Discharge damage capabilities will start to fall off relatively early.
